Epoxy Bucket Location: Pendola Pass Farm Route

The Epoxy Bucket is a Rare crafting material worth 1,000 that spawns on Pendola Pass only. You need it for the Outpost expansion from level 2 to 3: 3 Epoxy Buckets, 35 Planks, and 3 Hand Drills. It weighs 0.5, so there is no reason to leave one behind. The Insulation Roll spawns in exactly the same places, so you can farm both on one route.

What Kind of Places to Search

Most spawn spots are loose loot lying out in the open, so look at surfaces as you move through a building. Containers (cabinets, desks, bags, breachable boxes) can hold it as well. Share of all spawn spots on Pendola Pass:

Almatera Station Shelf Room

The best single room for Frozen Trail materials is on the second floor of Almatera Station, inside the station building. Walk in through the main entrance, take the escalators up, and the room full of metal shelves is right at the top. Walk every row and look at each shelf.

On a raid where Almatera Station was a red zone (Loot value: High), those shelves alone produced a Radial Press, Laser Level, Insulation Roll, Thermal Shaker, Hand Drill, Steel Cable and Sheet Metal. As a yellow zone (Medium), the same room still gave a Radial Press, Hand Drill and Calculator.

Train Cars in the Railyard

The best way to find Epoxy Buckets fast is to search the broken-down rail cars. At the Railyard, the trains are under the bridge on the south side, close to the Loading Platforms — three short trains under the overhang. Parked passenger cars have a table and seats per bay: walk the aisle and look down. The buckets sit on the tables or seats, or inside containers like suitcases. At Almatera Station the trains are closer to the center of the building.

Storm Huts

You can also find Epoxy Buckets inside Storm Huts (Avalanche Shelters). They are usually closed and hidden from the map until a snowstorm (Flash Freeze) begins; you will see a Storm Hut icon at the top of your compass when you are near enough. Once inside, loot can include Epoxy Buckets, weapon cases and boxes. Two caveats: another player inside can close the door behind them, locking you out, and the buckets are not guaranteed to be inside. Between the two options, train cars are the more reliable farm.

Tips

• Train cars are quick wins — park the route around the Railyard trains first, before other Raiders strip them.
• Head for the loot zones — yellow areas already roll better loot; red areas roll more and better still.
• Key rooms pay off — the Almatera Station, Cielo Sereno Observatory and Old Town key rooms also hand out Laser Levels, Insulation Rolls, Epoxy Buckets, Thermal Shakers, Calculators and a Radial Press.
• It weighs 0.5 — keep picking them up; the Outpost project only asks for three.
