Privacy Policy

ARC Raiders Wiki is a static, fan-made guide site. There are no accounts, no comment sections and no newsletter sign-up, so there is very little for us to collect. This page explains the small amount of data that does exist and who touches it.

What we do not collect

  • No account registration, so no names, email addresses or passwords.
  • No contact forms. Nothing you type on this site is sent to us.
  • No advertising or profiling cookies of our own. We do not run ad networks.

What is stored in your browser

One value: your light or dark theme choice, saved in localStorage under the key theme. It never leaves your device, and clearing your browser storage removes it.

Third parties

Three services may process limited technical data when you use the site:

  • Hosting / CDN. The site is served through a content delivery network, which keeps standard server logs such as IP address, requested URL, timestamp and user agent for security and abuse prevention.
  • Google Analytics. We use Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-ZY9693L63L) to count visits and see which guides are useful. It sets first-party cookies such as _ga and _ga_*, and sends Google your truncated IP address, rough location, referrer, device type and the pages you view. We only see aggregated reports — never your identity. Google may process this data as described in its own privacy policy, and you can opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out add-on.
  • YouTube embeds. Some pages embed official ARC Raiders videos from youtube-nocookie.com, which limits cookie use until playback. When a video loads, YouTube (Google) may still receive your IP address and set its own cookies or local storage under its own privacy policy. We do not control that data and receive none of it.

Outbound links

Guides link to official sources and to the game's store pages. Once you follow a link, the privacy policy of that site applies, not this one.

Children

ARC Raiders is rated for players aged 13 and over. This site is written for that audience and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.

Your choices

You can block embedded video by using a browser extension or by disabling third-party content; the written guides remain fully readable without any video. You can block Google Analytics with the browser's tracking protection, an ad blocker, or the official opt-out add-on — the site works exactly the same either way. You can also clear localStorage at any time to remove the theme preference.

Changes and contact

If this policy changes, the date at the top of the page changes with it. Questions about privacy can be sent to privacy@arc-raiders-guide.wiki.
