Best ARC Raiders Skill Tree Builds (October 2026)

Last updated: 2026-10-30

The Frozen Trail overhauled skill tree is live for every Raider as of October 2026, and with points refunded, most players are rebuilding from scratch. At max level you earn 76 base skill points; Raiders who have kept up with Expeditions can reach 91. You cannot max the tree, so the best build is the one that reaches the strongest capstones first. Below are the recommended point distributions, the unlock order most players follow, and the few skills every community build agrees on.

  • Base budget: 76 points at level 75; 91 once all Expedition bonus points (15) are banked.
  • Recommended split (IGN, Oct 2026): Conditioning 31 / Mobility 41 / Survival 4.
  • Priority order: push Mobility to its capstone first, then Conditioning, then Survival.
  • Two must-have directions: Sprinting on Fumes (Mobility) and Security Breach (Conditioning).

The Headline Build: Conditioning 31 / Mobility 41 / Survival 4

This is the distribution IGN recommends for October 2026. Survival gets the fewest points because its perks focus on looting faster and quieter, while Mobility and Conditioning deliver both combat and carry benefits.

The Phased Unlock Order

Arc Raiders Hub’s PvPvE build (76 points: C31 / M31 / S14; 91 points: C33 / M41 / S17) sequences the points so every level-up has a clear next pick. The order, roughly:

  1. The three roots (points 1–3): Youthful Lungs, In-Round Crafting, Used to the Weight — one point each to open all three branches.
  2. Mobility to its first diamond (points 4–15): Nimble Climber to 5/5, Fight or Flight, take Vault Spring at the choice node, and dip Marathon Runner.
  3. Survival to Quick Roll (points 16–25): Looter’s Instincts to 5/5, Sturdy Ankles, a point of Silent Scavenger, then take Quick Roll at the Survival diamond.
  4. Conditioning to Mule’s Gallop and carry weight (points 26–41): Three Deep Breaths, Vigorous Vaulter, Stubborn Mule, Vault ‘N’ Carry, take Mule’s Gallop, then Loaded Arms and Broad Shoulders.
  5. Mobility to Sprinting on Fumes (points 42–59): max Marathon Runner, Effortless Roll, Swift Start, Fight or Flight, Right Back at It, Off the Wall, then take the Sprinting on Fumes capstone.
  6. Conditioning to Security Breach (points 60–73): max Downed but Determined and Crawl Before You Walk, three points of Speedy Mule, then Security Breach at 31 Conditioning.
  7. Last base points (74–76): Traveling Tinkerer and a couple of points in Looter’s Luck.
  8. Expedition points (77–91): push Mobility to 40 for Wall Run, max Looter’s Luck, and finish with Proficient Pryer.

Three Skills Every Build Agrees On

After running the legal builds, community testing converges on three picks that show up in PvE, PvP and all-around trees alike:

  • Quick Roll — a faster, cheaper dodge roll that covers less ground but costs far less stamina than Minesweeper.
  • Vaults on Vaults on Vaults — vaulting costs no stamina, an escape and traversal tool in every fight.
  • Sprinting on Fumes — your stamina never fully drains while you sprint, so you never run dry mid-chase or mid-flee.

What the Testing Showed

Real raid tests behind these builds back a few specific numbers:

  • Crawl Before You Walk + Downed but Determined roughly double how far you crawl when downed — about 40 m without them, around 80 m on half a health bar with both maxed.
  • Mule’s Gallop + Speedy Mule turn badly over-encumbered movement from “slower than walking” into nearly normal.
  • Broad Shoulders adds +10 carry weight at max rank, and Looter’s Instincts reveals loot about 25% faster at max.
  • Turtle Crawl cuts damage taken while downed by 33% — a must in PvP, skippable in pure PvE.
  • Sprinting on Fumes leaves you winded after a long empty run; an Adrenaline Shot skips the recovery wait.
Who should flip to PvE mode: during the October PvE toggle test, Bull Rush became a real Conditioning alternative to Security Breach — it deals no damage but shoves other Raiders off loot and doorways in lobbies where nobody can shoot each other. If you have spare Coins, try it and reset if it does not fit.

If you are not level 75 yet, do not spread your points: brute-force Mobility to its capstone first, then build out Conditioning, then Survival. Stamina and movement decide most fights, at any level.
